2.1 All children must have permission from a parent or care giver to have their face painted. The event organizer is responsible for ensuring this.
2.2 Your face painter must be advised if any of the children have known allergies, or skin conditions that may be relevant to face painting. We are able to do a patch test of any children. All paints the artist uses are EU and FDA compliant, hypoallergenic and not more than 12 months old but on rare occasions an allergic reaction can occur this is usually within 24 hours.
2.3 Due to the risk of infection, anyone who appears to be suffering from a cold sore, runny nose, conjunctivitis, or any other infectious skin complaint, or who has an open sore or irritation will not have their face painted. The performer may choose to paint one cheek, or the back of the hand as this skin is less sensitive.
2.4 Your face painter has the right to refuse to paint the face of any child under the age of 2 years, or child reluctant to have their face painted. Young children do not always understand face painting and this can be a traumatic experience in some circumstances.
